Royal Catering has been born out of the success of The Royal Hotel, the Isle of Wight's leading four star hotel. As well as being an outstanding hotel, The Royal is simply one of the best places to eat on the Island. The Royal's elegant, fine dining restaurant, The Appuldurcombe , has garnered an outstanding reputation for exquisite, imaginative food inspired by our abundant island larder and impeccable service. For the past fifteen years we have been awarded Two AA Rosettes for fine dining and this year we are delighted to make our debut in The Good Food Guide for 2012.
Now we aim to extend the magic and sense of occasion with Royal Catering.
With our new, dedicated kitchen and our talented, Executive Head Chef Alan Staley at the helm - we can bring that legendary hospitality and sense of occasion to you, anywhere on the Isle of Wight from beachfront to country house and set the scene for an unforgettable event.
We would also like to tell you about our accomplished head pastry chef, Emily Harris. Emily is a rising star - young and talented. She has already established a name for herself by scooping an award for her afternoon tea whilst working at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental. Recently she worked alongside the visionary chef Heston Blumenthal at Dinner. Emily makes wonderful desserts, aromatic breads, handmade biscuits and delightful sweet treats. Her considerable skills and attention to detail will add a talking point to your banquet, dinner or cocktail party.
